Great Suffolk Street Warehouse
Andromeda 54
October 2016
The boys behind Percolate asked me to design and fabricate a set for the main room of their biggest party yet, a galaxy far far away from your normal Halloween: Andromeda 54. Blasting off from Great Suffolk Street Warehouse – a series of large railway arches, normally operating as a carpark – we transported dancers to a cosmic disco.

To create this intergalactic party, I took inspiration from their flyer art, building a space city for heavyweights Todd Terje and Maribou State to guide the cosmic boogie from. I also integrated video wall panels to create a visually dynamic, ever-changing set, which added to the futuristic feel.

This set was made almost entirely by myself from my Brixton workshop, and can now be rented as a whole or in parts from Okoru Events – the company which also provided and controlled the video wall panels.
