As the on-site décor manager for the festival, I was responsible for how and where the decorative materials and seating were placed. The budget was tight and the materials were in short supply, but I managed to give the space a good festival feel and maintain the village fete theme.

I was also involved in fabricating the 3D GALA sign in the workshop and its installation on-site, using putlocks, oyster clips and ratchet straps to make sure that the letters were firmly in place. In addition, I took responsibility for accepting and guiding deliveries to the site.

Following this, I was asked to be involved in the creative direction from its earliest point this year, however unfortunately I will still be in the desert for AfrikaBurn.
