Brixton, London

South pole saloon

October 2015

As crew for Atlas Bear's South Pole Saloon, I helped the three-week transformation of a hidden car park  in Brixton into a large, well-decorated, fully-immersive event space. This included a sound-insulated bar and club area, three independently-themed private booths, an outside bar and a food area.

To make this happen, we made raised floors from timber grids and pallets, on top of which we then built the structures from scaffolding. Using a range of techniques, we then framed, decorated and clad these structures to make Santa’s naughty saloon.
